Polling Place Report From Frank Lock

Early Voting site report: Thursday – Friday, 15 & 16

East Hall site: At 10 a.m. there were about 20 cars in the parking lot. There were no voters in line outside the entrance. The turnaround time from in the door to back out after voting was 15 minutes.

Mulberry Park Site: Other than the drone of cars racing at the local track (practicing?), the early voting site was calm. At noon, turn around time for voters was 12 to 15 minutes, with voters entering the parking lot every few minutes.

Gainesville/Brenau site: This site was a bit hard to find. It is directly across the street from the new library (same site as the old library). A couple of voters nearly walked past the entrance. At 11 a.m. there were no voters in line out front. Turn around time to vote was 10  minutes.

North Hall site: There were a number of cars in the parking lot, but no voters in line out front. Turn around time to vote was 15 minutes, and people arrived steadily to vote.

Murrayville library site: There is still a parking challenge here. At 1 p.m. the gate to the teacher parking area was closed so voters were not able to park there. There were no voters in line out front and turn around time to vote was 15 minutes.

A successful first week of early voting in Hall County.
