A brief tutorial on how to use the MiniVan mobile app for canvassing. A political campaign, nonprofit, or grassroots organization can create a list of names and addresses for volunteers / staff to visit and talk to. When a volunteer / staff member is provided a “list number”, that number can be entered into the app to download the prepared list of names and addresses. This will allow the volunteer / staff member to canvass for their campaign or cause, enter useful data such as reporting that the person listed has “moved” or was actually visited and spoken to, and then allows for this data to be synced with via the mobile device.
