Our Hall County Democrats participated in the MLK Day of Celebration by providing free hot chocolate and bottled water to marchers and onlookers. Committee members Jackie Sosby, Susan McLaughlin and Ashland Swan all helped in this event sponsored by Newtown Florist and organized by Laura Colaninno. HCD volunteers Brad Hasten, Dale Granata, Mary Beth Turley, Brooke Siskin and Gordon Love also helped prepare and serve. The weather was perfect being not too cold but cool enough for the MLK Celebrants to appreciate the hot chocolate.
